When Fraud Occurs

Here are some steps you can take when a fraud occurs:
  1. Contact the other party to see if an agreement can be reached.
  2. If no agreement is reached and you are the buyer, contact your payment service provider (e.g. your bank, credit card company) you have used to transfer money to dispute the payment.
  3. Make a report to your local law enforcement body.
  4. File a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center.
  5. Seek legal advice on your case.
  6. You can make the report in the other party profile page. This helps to protect other members against future fraud.
